| SENATE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| learned with sadness of the death of Lela W. Mudd of |
| 4 |
| Springfield, formerly of Peoria, on January 25, 2005; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, She was born May 4, 1909 in Pekin, the daughter of |
| 6 |
| George F. and Carrie Payne Barrick Beimfohr; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, She retired in 1975 as a machinist from |
| 8 |
| Caterpillar Inc. after 37 years; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, William, |
| 10 |
| and her daughter, Juanita Saccamono; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Lela W. Mudd is felt by all who |
| 12 |
| knew and loved her, especially her sons, Joseph C. and William; |
| 13 |
| her grandchildren; her great-grandchildren; her |
| 14 |
| great-great-grandchildren; her sisters, Lois Pollit, Ruth |
| 15 |
| Butch, and Ethel White; and her nieces and nephews; therefore, |
| 16 |
| be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
| 18 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 19 |
| Lela W. Mudd and we extend our sincere condolences to her |
| 20 |
| family; and be it further
|
| 21 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 22 |
| presented to her family as an expression of our deepest |
| 23 |
| sympathy.
