| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| learned with sadness of the death of Stephen A. Juhrend of Lake |
| 4 |
| Bluff, formerly of Lake Forest, on February 5, 2005; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, He was born in Lake Forest on October 24, 1952 and |
| 6 |
| was a graduate of Lake Forest High School; he was formerly with |
| 7 |
| his family's businesses, The Village Paint Shop and Herman A. |
| 8 |
| Juhrend Decorating Company in Lake Forest; and he was a former |
| 9 |
| employee of Sherwin Williams Paint Company in Waukegan and |
| 10 |
| Walgreens in Lake Forest; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, Stephen was a Lake County Democratic Party |
| 12 |
| Committeeman and enjoyed restoring Tri-Five Antique Chevys; |
| 13 |
| and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his mother, Loretta |
| 15 |
| Cole; and
|
| 16 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Stephen A. Juhrend is felt by all |
| 17 |
| who knew and loved him, especially his daughter, Jennifer Ann |
| 18 |
| Juhrend; his son, Douglas A. Juhrend; and his father, H. Arthur |
| 19 |
| Juhrend; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
| 21 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 22 |
| Stephen A. Juhrend and extend our heartfelt condolences to his |
| 23 |
| family, friends, and community; and be it further
|
| 24 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 25 |
| presented to his family as an expression of our deepest |
| 26 |
| sympathy.
