| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| learned with sadness of the death of Cecilia Helen Moran of |
| 4 |
| Belleville on April 3, 2005; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Moran was born November 16, 1916, in Carlyle |
| 6 |
| and she moved to Venice as a young girl; she married George |
| 7 |
| Moran on November 24, 1946, and they had three children; she |
| 8 |
| was a homemaker; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by a son, William Moran; |
| 10 |
| her parents, John and Catherine (nee Luepke) Rogan; three |
| 11 |
| sisters, Patty Fields, Mary Catherine Rogan, and Ellen Rogan; |
| 12 |
| and a brother, William Rogan; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Cecilia Helen Moran is felt by all |
| 14 |
| who knew and loved her, especially her husband, George; her |
| 15 |
| son, Judge George Moran; her daughter, Judge Kathleen Moran; |
| 16 |
| her son-in-law, Pat Callahan; her grandchildren, Kristen |
| 17 |
| Moran, Clay Moran, Andrew Callahan, Elizabeth (Christopher) |
| 18 |
| Gloeckner, and Rebecca Callahan; and her great-grandson, Devin |
| 19 |
| Gloeckner; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
| 21 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 22 |
| Cecilia Helen Moran and extend our sincerest condolences to her |
| 23 |
| family and friends; and be it further
|
| 24 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 25 |
| presented to her family as an expression of our deepest |
| 26 |
| sympathy.
