| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| learned with sadness of the death of Ann Mazur of Christopher |
| 4 |
| on May 1, 2005; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Ms. Mazur was born November 8, 1914, in Flat |
| 6 |
| River, Missouri, the daughter of Wasil Mazur and Anna Lawder; |
| 7 |
| and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, She was a manicurist for St. Louis Athletic Club; |
| 9 |
| and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, She was a member of Holy Nativity of the Virgin |
| 11 |
| Mary Russian Orthodox Church; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents and one |
| 13 |
| brother, Steve Mazur; and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Ann Mazur is felt by all who knew |
| 15 |
| and loved her, especially her brother, Frank Mazur; her nephew, |
| 16 |
| Charles Mazur and his wife, Jeanenne; her great-nephews, |
| 17 |
| Courtney Mazur and Trevor Mazur; and her great-great-nephew, |
| 18 |
| Peyton Mazur; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
| 20 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 21 |
| Ann Mazur and extend our sincerest condolences to her family; |
| 22 |
| and be it further
|
| 23 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 24 |
| presented to her family as an expression of our deepest |
| 25 |
| sympathy.
