| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| learned with sadness of the death of Mildred E. Meinders of |
| 4 |
| Metropolis on June 5, 2005; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ |
| 6 |
| in Metropolis; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman |
| 8 |
| Meinders; her parents, Taylor and Agnes Beyke Miller; her |
| 9 |
| brother, Elvin Miller; her sister, Eileen Miller; and her |
| 10 |
| step-brother, Robert Cummins; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Mildred E. Meinders is felt by all |
| 12 |
| who knew and loved her, especially her daughters, Anita Sue |
| 13 |
| Quint and husband Everett and Luane Flynn and husband Jerry; |
| 14 |
| her granddaughters, Amy Haught and husband Joe and Erin |
| 15 |
| Bernstein and husband Scott; her grandsons, Jeremy Flynn and |
| 16 |
| wife Janean and Christopher Flynn; her great-grandson, Grant |
| 17 |
| Flynn; her brother, Jerome Miller and wife Esther; her |
| 18 |
| sisters-in-law, Maxine Miller and Viola Meinders; and several |
| 19 |
| nephews and nieces, including her special niece, Lois Meinders; |
| 20 |
| therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 23 |
| Mildred E. Meinders and extend our sincerest condolences to her |
| 24 |
| family; and be it further
|
| 25 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 26 |
| presented to her family as an expression of our deepest |
| 27 |
| sympathy.
