| SENATE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| learned with regret of the death of John Wayne Moran of |
| 4 |
| Waukegan on May 31, 2005; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, He was born on May 29, 1945, in Highland Park; he |
| 6 |
| valiantly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Moran was a member of the Waukegan Police |
| 8 |
| Department for 26 years; he was also a member of the Fraternal |
| 9 |
| Order of Police and the Waukegan Police Association; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, His passing has been deeply felt by many, |
| 11 |
| especially his wife, Carol (nee Briquelet); his children, |
| 12 |
| Jennifer, Michael, Ryan, and Jacqueline Moran; his mother, |
| 13 |
| Alice "Gerry" (George) Grum; and his siblings, Wendell Moran |
| 14 |
| and Lynn Tanner; he was the nephew of Bunt, the late Howie |
| 15 |
| (Livia), and Rich (Patricia) Moran and the uncle of Alicia, |
| 16 |
| Elena, Monica, and Ashley; his father, Jack Wilford Moran, |
| 17 |
| preceded him in death; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
| 19 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 20 |
| John Wayne Moran, and we extend our sincere condolences to his |
| 21 |
| family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
| 22 |
| further
|
| 23 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 24 |
| presented to his family as an expression of our deepest |
| 25 |
| sympathy.
