| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| learned with sadness of the death of Donna Norris Carlson of |
| 4 |
| O'Fallon, Missouri, formerly of Paulton, on Thursday, July 7, |
| 5 |
| 2005; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, She was born on October 6, 1948, to Clyde and |
| 7 |
| Virginia (Buhl) Norris in Paulton; she married Jack "Ed" |
| 8 |
| Carlson on February 14, 1975, in Paulton, and together they |
| 9 |
| shared more than 30 years of marriage; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Carlson was a retired telephone operator; |
| 11 |
| after retirement she began working at Gordman's in O'Fallon; |
| 12 |
| she attended First Baptist Church in O'Fallon and was a member |
| 13 |
| of IBEW 702, CWA (Communications Workers of America); and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Donna Norris Carlson has been |
| 15 |
| deeply felt by many, especially her husband, Ed; her brothers |
| 16 |
| and their spouses, Grant and Thelma Norris, Bob and Jane |
| 17 |
| Norris, Jerry and Yvonne Norris, Harvey and Karen Norris, Danny |
| 18 |
| and Linda Norris, Rex and Annabelle Norris, Marvin Norris, and |
| 19 |
| Albert Norris; her special niece, Lisa Norris; her special |
| 20 |
| nephew, Dave Norris; and her many nieces and nephews; she was |
| 21 |
| preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jackie Don |
| 22 |
| Norris; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
| 24 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 25 |
| Donna Norris Carlson, and we extend our deepest sympathy to her |
| 26 |
| family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it |
| 27 |
| further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 29 |
| presented to her family as an expression of our sincere |
| 30 |
| condolences.
