| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| learned with regret of the death of Robert "Bob" Webb of |
| 4 |
| Christopher on Thursday, July 7, 2005; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, He was born on May 13, 1922, in Christopher to |
| 6 |
| Ernest Webb and Lillian (Ryan) Webb; he married Winfred |
| 7 |
| (Hargis) Webb; she preceded him in death; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Webb was retired from Fish and Wildlife at |
| 9 |
| Crab Orchard; he was a member of Benton Masonic Lodge and |
| 10 |
| Sesser American Legion; he was also a veteran of Iwo Jima; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Robert "Bob" Webb has been deeply |
| 12 |
| felt by many, especially his son, Stan Hess; his daughters, |
| 13 |
| Diana Broy and Pamela Napier; his six grandchildren; and his |
| 14 |
| twelve great-grandchildren; he was also preceded in death by |
| 15 |
| one sister, Shirley Mae Nash; therefore, be it
|
| 16 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
| 17 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 18 |
| Robert "Bob" Webb, and we extend our sincere condolences to his |
| 19 |
| family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
| 20 |
| further
|
| 21 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 22 |
| presented to his family as an expression of our deepest |
| 23 |
| sympathy.
