| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| learned with regret of the death of Larry Leon Reeves of |
| 4 |
| Pulaski on Thursday, June 7, 2005; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Reeves was born on February 25, 1941, in |
| 6 |
| Mounds to Carl Franklin Reeves and Muriel Janet "Mermie" |
| 7 |
| (Palmer) Reeves; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, He was a member of Pulaski Christian Church, an |
| 9 |
| Army veteran, and was a PBX truck driver for 25 years; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Reeves was preceded in death by his father, |
| 11 |
| Carl F. Reeves, on May 4, 1988, and by his sister, Carolyn Sue |
| 12 |
| Jones, on August 6, 1980; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Larry Leon Reeves has been deeply |
| 14 |
| felt by many, especially his mother, Mermie Reeves; his sons, |
| 15 |
| William Carl Reeves and James Blaine Reeves; his brother, David |
| 16 |
| Keith Reeves; and his many nephews, nieces, and cousins; |
| 17 |
| therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
| 19 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 20 |
| Larry Leon Reeves, and we extend our sincere condolences to his |
| 21 |
| family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
| 22 |
| further
|
| 23 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 24 |
| presented to his family as an expression of our deepest |
| 25 |
| sympathy.
