| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| learned with sadness of the death of Rodney M. Rolla of Buckner |
| 4 |
| on July 17, 2005; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Rolla was born August 6, 1932, in Buckner, to |
| 6 |
| Joseph "Chewie" and Dollie (Tatalovich) Rolla; he was a retired |
| 7 |
| electrician and a member of the VFW of Sesser; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Rodney Rolla is felt by all who |
| 10 |
| knew and loved him, especially his cousins, Ron and Vicki |
| 11 |
| Slaviero and Elaine and Ron Huie and their children, John and |
| 12 |
| Jean Huie and Ronnell and Mike Karoski; his nieces, Cheryl |
| 13 |
| Rolla and Lynn and James Atterbery; his nephew, Chris and |
| 14 |
| Leanna Rolla; his brother, Joel "Jo Jo" and Beverly Rolla; his |
| 15 |
| great-nieces and great-nephew, Daniella Rolla, Kristen Rolla, |
| 16 |
| and Nicolas Rolla; and several cousins; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
| 18 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we express our most |
| 19 |
| sincere regret at the passing of Rodney Rolla and extend our |
| 20 |
| condolences to his family, friends, and community; and be it |
| 21 |
| further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 23 |
| presented to his family as an expression of our deepest |
| 24 |
| sympathy.
