| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |

| learned with regret of the death of Howard Wayne Eubanks of |

| Sesser on Wednesday, July 27, 2005; and

| WHEREAS, He was born to Bryan and Mattie (McBride) Eubanks |
| 6 |
| on January 30, 1919, in Sesser; he married the former Evelyn |
| 7 |
| Loman on February 22, 1938, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Eubanks was a retired coal miner from Freeman |
| 9 |
| No. 6 and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sesser; |
| 10 |
| after retirement, his greatest pleasures came from tending his |
| 11 |
| garden, cattle, and camping; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Howard Wayne Eubanks has been |
| 13 |
| deeply felt by many, especially his wife of 67 years, Evelyn; |
| 14 |
| his children, Marlene Stubblefield and her husband, Jack, Gale |
| 15 |
| Eubanks and wife, Carrie, Brenda Hartley and husband, Billy |

| Joe, and Debbie Malkovich and husband, Danny; his |

| grandchildren, Jackie Myers and husband, Brian, Chris |

| Stubblefield and wife, Tammy, Howard Gale Eubanks and wife, |
