| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| learned with regret of the death of Elizabeth W. Lieb of Mounds |
| 4 |
| on Wednesday, August 10, 2005; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Lieb was born on December 4, 1904, in |
| 6 |
| Wickliffe, Kentucky, to Joseph Walter Farley and Daisy Vaden |
| 7 |
| (Futrell) Farley; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, She was a member and Sunday school teacher at the |
| 9 |
| First Baptist Church in Mounds and was a housewife and a |
| 10 |
| homemaker; she was on the Willard Scott Smuckers Show for her |
| 11 |
| 100th birthday in December of 2004; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Elizabeth W. Lieb has been deeply |
| 13 |
| felt by many, especially her daughters, Betty Goolin and Lucy |
| 14 |
| Klosterman; her sons, Henry Lieb Jr. and Robert Lieb; and her |
| 15 |
| many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives; |
| 16 |
| she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Lieb Sr. in |
| 17 |
| 1992; therefore, be it
|
| 18 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
| 19 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 20 |
| Elizabeth W. Lieb, and we extend our sincere condolences to her |
| 21 |
| family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it |
| 22 |
| further
|
| 23 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 24 |
| presented to her family as an expression of our deepest |
| 25 |
| sympathy.
