| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |

| learned with regret of the death of Alan Spencer of Carterville |
| 4 |
| on Monday, August 23, 2005; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, He was born on July 6, 1987, in Carbondale to |
| 6 |
| Craig Alan and Wendelyn Ann (Yewell) Spencer; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, He enjoyed watching television and listening to |
| 8 |
| music, and he especially loved his dogs; he was attending Our |
| 9 |
| Directions School in Herrin; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his grandfather, |
| 11 |
| Wendell Yewell; his paternal great-grandparents; and his |
| 12 |
| maternal great-grandfather, Walter Hensley; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Alan Spencer has been deeply felt |
| 14 |
| by many, especially his mother, Ann Spencer; his father, Craig |
| 15 |
| Spencer and his wife, Yvonne; his sisters and brother-in-law, |
| 16 |
| Heather and Kyle Filson and Jennifer Hacker and her fiance, |
| 17 |
| Ryan Aloffo; his brother, Wes Spencer; his stepbrother, Alex |
| 18 |
| Sauer; his nephews, Ian Bogard and Logan Filson; his maternal |
| 19 |
| grandmother, Nancy Yewell; his paternal grandparents, Russell |
| 20 |
| and Delores Spencer; and his maternal great-grandmother, Mary |
| 21 |
| Hensley; therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 24 |
| Alan Spencer, and we extend our sincere condolences to his |
| 25 |
| family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
| 26 |
| further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 28 |
| presented to his family as an expression of our deepest |

| sympathy.
