| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| learned with sadness of the death of Jeanette Campbell of |
| 4 |
| Galatia on September 3, 2005; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Campbell was born May 25, 1930, in Galatia, |
| 6 |
| to Walter and Nannie Bell (Green) Ragsdale; she married R.J. |
| 7 |
| Campbell on February 8, 1947, in Morganfield, Kentucky; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, She was a member of Galatia Methodist Church and a |
| 9 |
| past member of Galatia Rebbach Lodge and DuQuoin Saddle Club; |
| 10 |
| and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents; her |
| 12 |
| husband; her son, Dennis Campbell; her sisters, Freda Defalco, |
| 13 |
| Nina Lodean Gray, and Fern Baker; and her brother, Roy Donald |
| 14 |
| Ragsdale; and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Jeanette Campbell is felt by all |
| 16 |
| who knew and loved her, especially her son, Bill Campbell; her |
| 17 |
| grandchildren, Chad Campbell, Angie Droit, Gayla Titsworth, |
| 18 |
| and Jerod Campbell; her four great-grandchildren; and her |
| 19 |
| daughter-in-law, Phyllis Campbell; therefore, be it
|
| 20 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
| 21 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 22 |
| Jeanette Campbell and extend our sincerest condolences to her |
| 23 |
| family, friends, and community; and be it further
|
| 24 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 25 |
| presented to her family as an expression of our deepest |
| 26 |
| sympathy.
