| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to express |
| 3 |
| their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Arthur |
| 4 |
| "Gene" Eugene McDowell, who passed away on September 23, 2005; |
| 5 |
| and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, Arthur McDowell was born on January 4, 1959 in |
| 7 |
| Murphysboro to Claude and Arcille Green McDowell; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. McDowell had worked in construction and |
| 9 |
| logging; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by two sisters, Katheryne |
| 11 |
| Whitaker Howell and Brenda Kay McDowell; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Arthur Eugene McDowell will be felt |
| 13 |
| by all who knew and loved him, especially his daughter, Kelly |
| 14 |
| (Raymond) Rodriguez; his significant other, Ruby Wallace; his |
| 15 |
| granddaughters, Audrey Anna and Alexis Rodriguez; his mother, |
| 16 |
| Arcille McDowell; his sisters, Karen (Robert) Poole, Laura |
| 17 |
| Scott, Teri (Dave) Vaughn, Claudette, and Rhonda; his brothers, |
| 18 |
| David McDowell, Russell (Dee) McDowell, and Claude McDowell, |
| 19 |
| Jr; and his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends; |
| 20 |
| therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
| 22 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 23 |
| all who knew and loved him, the death of Arthur Eugene |
| 24 |
| McDowell; and be it further
|
| 25 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 26 |
| presented to the family of Arthur Eugene McDowell.
