| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to express |
| 3 |
| their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Chad |
| 4 |
| Short, who passed away on October 3, 2005; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Chad Short was born on January 24, 1975 in West |
| 6 |
| Frankfort to Howard and Imogene Avery Reed and the late Martha |
| 7 |
| Reed Short; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Short was an avid hunter and outdoorsman; he |
| 9 |
| was especially known for goose calling and guided goose hunting |
| 10 |
| trips; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Short was employed at Jason's Nursery of West |
| 12 |
| Frankfort; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Chad Short will be felt by all who |
| 14 |
| knew and loved him, especially his parents; his precious |
| 15 |
| children, Makayla and Drake Short; his former wife and special |
| 16 |
| friend, Cathy Short; his brothers, Charles Tink (Viola) Reed, |
| 17 |
| Mark (Janet), and Perry (Patty); and his sisters, Becky (Dick) |
| 18 |
| Hill and Gina (Jim) Tomms; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
| 20 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 21 |
| all who knew and loved him, the death of Chad Short; and be it |
| 22 |
| further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 24 |
| presented to the family of Chad Short.
