| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| learned with regret of the death of Nicholas Joseph Farella of |
| 4 |
| Park City on Friday, September 9, 2005; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Farella was born on July 28, 1948, in North |
| 6 |
| Chicago to Dominick Farella and Jacqueline Gisbon; he was |
| 7 |
| raised in North Chicago and lived his life in Lake County; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Farella touched many lives, not only in |
| 9 |
| person, but also through the radio, doing what he loved in the |
| 10 |
| Chicago area for over thirty-five years; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his father; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Nicholas Joseph Farella has been |
| 13 |
| deeply felt by many, especially his wife, Karen Allen Farella; |
| 14 |
| his mother; his children, Jackie, Dominick, Carrie, and |
| 15 |
| Christine; his grandchildren, Matthew, Angeline, Joseph, and |
| 16 |
| Katelyn; and his siblings, Tony and Carol; therefore, be it
|
| 17 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
| 18 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 19 |
| Nicholas Joseph Farella, and we extend our sincerest |
| 20 |
| condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved |
| 21 |
| him; and be it further
|
| 22 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 23 |
| presented to his family as an expression of our deepest |
| 24 |
| sympathy for their loss.
