| SENATE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to express |
| 3 |
| their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Lloyd |
| 4 |
| Earl Friedman of Ullin, who passed away on February 3, 2006; |
| 5 |
| and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Friedman was born on July 10, 1924, in Cairo, |
| 7 |
| the son of Arthur Friedman and Bessie (Giles) Friedman; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, He served his country as a member of the United |
| 9 |
| States Army during World War II; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Friedman was a retired mechanic; he was also a |
| 11 |
| former member of Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455 of Anna; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Friedman was preceded in death by his parents, |
| 13 |
| his wife, Mary L. (Everett) Friedman, and his brother, Richard |
| 14 |
| Friedman; and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Lloyd Earl Friedman will be felt by |
| 16 |
| all who knew and loved him, especially his son and |
| 17 |
| daughter-in-law, Donnie R. Friedman and Vella Friedman; his |
| 18 |
| granddaughter, Angie and husband, the Rev. Brent Gordon; and |
| 19 |
| his great-grandchildren, Graham and Olive Gordon; therefore, |
| 20 |
| be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
| 22 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 23 |
| all who knew and loved him, the death of Lloyd Richard |
| 24 |
| Friedman; and be it further
|
| 25 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 26 |
| presented to the family of Lloyd Richard Friedman as an |
| 27 |
| expression of our sympathy.
