| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to express |
| 3 |
| their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Rev. |
| 4 |
| Dale A. Hauser, Jr. of Plainfield, who passed away on March 13, |
| 5 |
| 2006; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, Rev. Dale A. Hauser, Jr. was born on June 11, 1952 |
| 7 |
| to Dale, Sr. and Doreen Hauser; he married Beth Nielsen on |
| 8 |
| August 17, 1974, and together they had two sons, Dale and |
| 9 |
| Timothy; and |
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, Rev. Hauser attended grade school and high school |
| 11 |
| in Aurora; he graduated from Concordia River Forest in 1974 |
| 12 |
| with a degree in education; in 1981, he graduated from |
| 13 |
| Concordia Theological Seminary and began serving as Head of |
| 14 |
| Theology at Sheboygan Area Lutheran High School; he also served |
| 15 |
| part-time at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls, |
| 16 |
| Wisconsin; and |
| 17 |
| WHEREAS, Rev. Hauser served Faith Lutheran Church in |
| 18 |
| Pocatello, Idaho, for two years; he returned to Illinois to |
| 19 |
| become the pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church in Onarga; |
| 20 |
| during his twelve years at St. John's, he was the Interim |
| 21 |
| Pastor for Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cissna Park and served |
| 22 |
| two terms as Circuit Counselor in the Central Illinois |
| 23 |
| District; and |
| 24 |
| WHEREAS, Rev. Hauser was very committed to Christian |
| 25 |
| education; he was part of the Board of Directors of Christ |
| 26 |
| Lutheran High School in Buckley and Christ Lutheran Academy in |
| 27 |
| Plainfield; and he was President of the Board of Christ |
| 28 |
| Lutheran High School for their first graduation in 2000; and
|
| 29 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Rev. Dale A. Hauser, Jr. will be |
| 30 |
| felt by all who knew and loved him, especially his wife, Beth; |
