| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| learned with regret of the death of Kevin Carl Teets of |
| 4 |
| Springfield, formerly of Bethalto, on Saturday, April 8, 2006; |
| 5 |
| and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, He was born on February 1, 1958, in Elgin to |
| 7 |
| Richard Carl and Mary Edna (Jackson) Teets; he married the |
| 8 |
| former Stephanie Zick on February 20, 1982; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, He was a carpenter for Union Local 16, where he |
| 10 |
| was a trustee on the board of executives; he had volunteered |
| 11 |
| during the recent tornado disaster in Springfield; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Kevin Teets has been deeply felt by |
| 13 |
| many, especially his wife, Stephanie; his mother, Mary Edna |
| 14 |
| Teets; his daughter, Chandra Nicole Teets; his son and his |
| 15 |
| wife, Carl James and Shawntay Teets; his grandchildren, Devin |
| 16 |
| and Bryce; his brothers and sister-in-law, Bradley and |
| 17 |
| Constance Lynette Teets and Brent Lawrence Teets; and his four |
| 18 |
| nieces and eight nephews; he was preceded in death by his |
| 19 |
| father; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 22 |
| Kevin Carl Teets, and we extend our sincere condolences to his |
| 23 |
| family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
| 24 |
| further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 26 |
| presented to his family as an expression of our deepest |
| 27 |
| sympathy.
