| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| learned with regret of the death of Loretta Bridges of North |
| 4 |
| Chicago on Tuesday, April 4, 2006; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, She was a caring, loving wife, mother, and |
| 6 |
| grandmother; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Loretta Bridges has been deeply |
| 8 |
| felt by many, especially her husband of 38 years, Larry; her |
| 9 |
| sons, Joe (Michelle) Bridges, Steve (Gina) Bridges, and David |
| 10 |
| Bridges; her sister, Barbara (Don) Clark; her brother, Tom |
| 11 |
| (Sue) Verenski; her grandson, Bryan; her granddaughter, Ashley |
| 12 |
| Rose; and her niece, Kathy; she was preceded in death by her |
| 13 |
| parents, Stanley and Stella Verenski; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 16 |
| Loretta Bridges, and we extend our sincere condolences to her |
| 17 |
| family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it |
| 18 |
| further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 20 |
| presented to her family as an expression of our deepest |
| 21 |
| sympathy.
