| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |

| learned with sadness of the death of Stella M. (DiCiaula) |

| Terranova of Schaumburg on Thursday, July 20, 2006; and

| WHEREAS, She was born on January 19, 1923, in Chicago; and
|

| WHEREAS, The passing of Stella M. Terranova has been deeply |
| 7 |
| felt by many; she was the wife of the late Peter J.; mother of |
| 8 |
| Thomas (Carol) Terranova and Rocco (Sue) Terranova; |
| 9 |
| grandmother of Peter (Cookie) Terranova, Anthony (fiancée, |
| 10 |
| Janet) Terranova, Joe, Michael and Deana; great-grandmother of |
| 11 |
| Mia and Mira; sister of Anna Zacca, the late Theresa (Nick) |
| 12 |
| Piccolo and the late Dorothy (Frank) Pilloli; and sister-in-law |
| 13 |
| of Tony (Ann) Terranova, Antoinette De Falco and the late |
| 14 |
| Joseph, Sam, Mary, Rose, Josephine and Phyllis; therefore, be |

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |

| Stella M. Terranova, and we extend our deepest sympathy to her |
| 19 |
| family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it |
