| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| wish to express their sincere condolences to the family and |
| 4 |
| friends of Anthony Puccillo, Jr. of Westmont, who passed away |
| 5 |
| on July 25, 2006; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, He was united in marriage to the former Ollie |
| 7 |
| Moreland; he served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War; |
| 8 |
| he had been a resident of Westmont since 1978; he worked for |
| 9 |
| many years as a procurement contractor for the U.S. Department |
| 10 |
| of Energy and for Argonne National Laboratory; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, He was a retired member of the Westmont Village |
| 12 |
| Zoning and Planning Commission, as well as a village trustee; |
| 13 |
| he had been a trustee for about twelve years, starting in the |
| 14 |
| 1980s, while serving on and off until after 2000; during his |
| 15 |
| time as trustee, he always strongly supported the police and |
| 16 |
| fire departments; and
|
| 17 |
| WHEREAS, He and Ollie had volunteered for the village of |
| 18 |
| Westmont for the past ten years, selling tickets for Pow Wow |
| 19 |
| Days and its successor, The Taste of Westmont; he had been a |
| 20 |
| member of First Christian Church in Downers Grove; and
|
| 21 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Anthony Puccillo, Jr. has been |
| 22 |
| deeply felt by many, especially his wife, Ollie; his son, |
| 23 |
| Walter (Danielle); his daughter, Virginia Smith; his |
| 24 |
| granddaughter, Olivia Smith; his brother, Daniel Puccillo; his |
| 25 |
| sister, Julia Farenga; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, |
| 26 |
| be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 29 |
| Anthony Puccillo, Jr., and we extend our sincere condolences to |
| 30 |
| his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
