| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to send |

| their sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Emma C. |
| 4 |
| Kaulentis, who passed away on November 10, 2006; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Emma Kaulentis was very active at Annunciation |
| 6 |
| Cathedral Greek Orthodox Church; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, Emma Kaulentis was a true matriarch that was |
| 8 |
| honored and revered by her entire family; she was a true |
| 9 |
| example of strength, dignity, and honor; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, Emma Kaulentis will be remembered fondly by those |
| 11 |
| who knew and loved her; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, Emma C. Kaulentis (nee Coroneos), was the beloved |
| 13 |
| wife of the late John J. Kaulentis, the loving mother of |
| 14 |
| Chrysanthe, James J. (Carmen), and Dean J. (Kathie) Kaulentis; |
| 15 |
| the devoted daughter of the late Gus and Agape Coroneos; the |
| 16 |
| proud grandmother of John K. (Laura) Kerstein, Dawn (Roy) |
| 17 |
| Wiggemansen, Bill (Anastasia) Kerstein, John D. (Maureen), |
| 18 |
| Jackie, Demitra (Christopher) Foufas, Michael J., and the late |
| 19 |
| John J. Kaulentis; the great-grandmother of Matthew, Michael, |
| 20 |
| John, Lukas, Emma, Calista, Kenny, Alexis, Jimmy, Alex, T.C., |
| 21 |
| Caitlyn, and John James; the dear sister of Julia Pish and the |
| 22 |
| late Theodore, John, and Thomas Coroneos; and the fond aunt of |
| 23 |
| many; therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |

| her family and friends, the passing of Emma Kaulentis; and be |
