| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 |
| learn of the death of John E. "Jack" Hills, Jr., of Joliet, |
| 4 |
| Illinois, who passed away on November 16, 2006; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Jack Hills was born in Joliet, Illinois, on May 1, |
| 6 |
| 1958; his parents were the late John and Donna (nee Wilhelmi) |
| 7 |
| Hills; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, He was a 1976 graduate of Joliet Catholic High |
| 9 |
| School; he received a business degree from Lewis University in |
| 10 |
| 1980; he was the owner of Jack's Painting and Decorating; he |
| 11 |
| was previously employed at Hills Auto Supply; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, Jack is remembered as a loving father and a loving |
| 13 |
| brother who enjoyed playing his guitar; and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, John E. "Jack" Hills was the beloved father of |
| 15 |
| Stacy and Molly Hills; the loving brother of D'Ann (Jim) |
| 16 |
| Coppert, Cheryl (Dan) Ardaugh, Annette (Steve) Padron, Jim |
| 17 |
| (Sue) Hills, and Barbara (Tom) Lambert; the dear uncle of |
| 18 |
| Vincent (Jang Mi) Johnson, Vicki (Alex) Miller, Kati and Brian |
| 19 |
| Ardaugh, Matt and Micah Padron, Tiffany and Taylor Hills, and |
| 20 |
| T.J., Rachel, and Nicole Lambert; the proud great uncle of |
| 21 |
| Jacob Miller; and the nephew of Dr. Arthur and Mary Beth |
| 22 |
| Wilhelmi; he is also survived by many cousins; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
| 24 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 25 |
| his family and friends, the death of John E. "Jack" Hills; and |
| 26 |
| be it further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
