Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.

House Amendment No. 1
Deletes reference to:
725 ILCS 5/100-1
Adds reference to:
725 ILCS 5/115-5.1from Ch. 38, par. 115-5.1

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963. Permits the admissibility of autopsy photographs prepared by the coroner's or medical examiner's office in criminal and civil proceedings. Provides that the fact that a person who prepares a medical report or record is for any reason unavailable or not present to testify shall not be a bar to admissibility of the reports or records.
