    Amends the Interagency Coordinating Committee on Transportation Act. Creates an additional  4  positions on the Illinois Coordinating Committee on Transportation, one position to be appointed by  the President of the Senate, one position to be appointed by the Senate Minority Leader, one position to be appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and one position to be appointed by the House Minority Leader.

    AN ACT concerning State government.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Interagency Coordinating Committee on 
5
Transportation Act is amended  by changing Section 15 as 
6
follows:

    (20 ILCS 3968/15)

    Sec. 15. Committee. The Illinois Coordinating Committee on

9
Transportation is created and shall consist of the following 
10
members:

        (1) The Governor or his or her designee.

12
        (2) The Secretary of Transportation or his or her 
13
    designee.

14
        (3) The Secretary of Human Services or his or her 
15
    designee.

16
        (4) The Director of Aging or his or her designee.

17
        (5) The Director of Healthcare and Family Services

18
    Public Aid or his or her designee.

19
        (6) The Director of Commerce and Economic Opportunity 
20
    or his or her
designee.

21
        (7) A representative of the Illinois Rural Transit 
22
    Assistance
Center.

        (8) A person who is a member of a recognized statewide

    organization representing older residents of Illinois.

        (9) A representative of centers for independent

    living.

        (10) A representative of the Illinois Public 
5
    Transportation
Association.

        (11) A representative of an existing transportation

    system that
coordinates and provides transit services in a 
8
    multi-county area for
the Department of Transportation, 
9
    Department of Human Services,
Department of Commerce and 
10
    Economic Opportunity, or Department on Aging.

        (12) A representative of a statewide organization of

12
    rehabilitation facilities or other providers of services 
13
    for persons
with one or more disabilities.

14
        (13) A representative of a community-based 
15
    organization.

16
        (14) A representative of the Department of Public 
17
    Health.

18
        (15) A representative of the Rural Partners.

19
        (16) The Director of Employment Security or his or her 
20
    designee.

21
        (17) A representative of a statewide business 
22
    association.

        (18) A representative of the Illinois Council on 
24
    Developmental
Disabilities.

25
        (19) A member of the General Assembly appointed by the 
26
    President of the Senate.

    The Governor shall appoint the members of the Committee 
8
other
than those named in paragraphs (1) through (6) and 
9
paragraphs
paragraph (16), (19), (20), (21), and (22) of
this 
10
Section. The Governor or his or her designee shall serve as

11
chairperson of the Committee and shall convene the meetings of 
12
the
Committee. The Secretary of Transportation and a 
13
representative of a
community-based organization involved in 
14
transportation or their
designees, shall serve as 
15
co-vice-chairpersons and shall be responsible
for staff 
16
support for the committee.
