| AN ACT concerning transportation.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by adding |

| Section 2-129 as follows:
|

| Sec. 2-129. Instruction manual; cruise control warning. |
| 8 |
| The Secretary of State shall provide that the manual for |
| 9 |
| drivers known as "The Rules of the Road" shall instruct readers |
| 10 |
| to turn off the cruise control when operating a vehicle on wet |
| 11 |
| or icy pavement or in weather conditions of rain, freezing |
| 12 |
| rain, sleet, or snow.
