    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 508, on page 1, by

replacing lines 8 and 9 with the following:

on page 1, by replacing line 18 with the following:

"subsections (b-1), (c), and (d)
subsection (c) of this

Section.

    (b-1) Except as provided in subsection (d), any person

convicted of violating subsection (a), if the violation causes 
10
bodily harm to a child or a school crossing guard while the 
11
school crossing guard is performing his or her official duties, 
12
is guilty of a Class 4 felony."; and

on page 1, line 22, by replacing "Aggravated" with "Except as 
14
provided in subsection (d) of this Section, aggravated

reckless driving under this subsection (d) is a Class 3

felony.".
