| AN ACT concerning State historic sites.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 |
| Section 5. The Illinois Historic Preservation Agency Act is |
| 5 |
| amended by adding
Section 10.5 as follows:
|

| (20 ILCS 3405/10.5 new)
|
| 7 |
| Sec. 10.5. State historic sites required to be open. The |
| 8 |
| Illinois
Historic Preservation Agency must keep the
following
|
| 9 |
| State
historic sites open to
the public 7 days per week:
|
| 10 |
| (1) Black Hawk State Historic Site;
|
| 11 |
| (2) Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site;
|
| 12 |
| (3) Fort Kaskaskia State Historic Site;
|
| 13 |
| (4) U.S. Grant Home State Historic Site;
|
| 14 |
| (5) Lincoln-Herndon Law Office State Historic Site;
|
| 15 |
| (6) Lincoln Log Cabin State Historic Site;
|
| 16 |
| (7) Lincoln's New Salem State Historic Site;
|
| 17 |
| (8) Lincoln's Tomb State Historic Site;
|
| 18 |
| (9) Pierre Menard Home State Historic Site; and
|
| 19 |
| (10) Old State Capitol State Historic Site.
|
| 20 |
| Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, |
| 21 |
| 2007. |
