| AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 719

| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 719 on page 2, |
| 3 |
| immediately below line 3, by inserting the following: |
| 4 |
| "(c) If tree trimming in a municipality is determined by |
| 5 |
| alternative vegetation management guidelines, then the |
| 6 |
| alternative vegetation management guidelines shall be |
| 7 |
| submitted to the Commission. The Commission shall post the |
| 8 |
| alternative vegetation management guidelines on its website on |
| 9 |
| a separate page reserved exclusively for municipal vegetation |
| 10 |
| management schedules. The alternative vegetation management |
| 11 |
| guidelines must be submitted to the Commission within 30 days |
| 12 |
| after passage and must be posted on the Commission's website |
| 13 |
| within 30 days after the Commission receives the guidelines. |
| 14 |
| For purposes of this subsection (c), "alternative |
| 15 |
| vegetation management guidelines" means any franchise, |
| 16 |
| contract, written agreement, mutual agreement, or municipal |
| 17 |
| ordinance that establishes vegetation management practices |
| 18 |
| that differ from those in subsection (a) of this Section."; and
