| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 736 on page 2, line |

| 2, immediately after "report", by inserting the following: |

| ", in a manner established by the Commission that is consistent |
| 5 |
| with the Commission's rules regarding ex parte |
| 6 |
| communications,"; and

| 7 |
| on page 2, by replacing lines 18 through 20 with the following: |
| 8 |
| "Notwithstanding any other provision of this Section, the |
| 9 |
| Commission's established procedures for accepting testimony |
| 10 |
| from Illinois residents on matters pending before the |
| 11 |
| Commission shall be consistent with the Commission's rules |
| 12 |
| regarding ex parte communications and due process.".
