| AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 913

| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 913 on page 1, by |

| replacing lines 19 through 23 with the following: |

| "(iii) Custody exercised under a statutory |
| 5 |
| short-term guardianship for reasons other than to have |
| 6 |
| access to the educational programs of the district, |
| 7 |
| provided that within 365
60 days of the pupil's |
| 8 |
| enrollment a court order is entered that establishes a |
| 9 |
| permanent guardianship and grants custody to a person |
| 10 |
| with whom the pupil resides for"; and
|
| 11 |
| on page 2, by replacing lines 1 and 2 with the following: |
| 12 |
| "reasons other than to have access to the educational |
| 13 |
| programs of the district.".
