| AN ACT concerning veterans.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Department of Veterans Affairs Act is |
| 5 |
| amended by adding Section 2h as follows:
|
| 6 |
| (20 ILCS 2805/2h new) |
| 7 |
| Sec. 2h. Home for veterans with Alzheimer's disease. |
| 8 |
| Subject to appropriation, the Department shall create and |
| 9 |
| operate a veterans' home at the Lincoln Developmental Center |
| 10 |
| for veterans with Alzheimer's disease.

| 11 |
| Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 12 |
| becoming law.
