| AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1080

| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1080, on page 17, |

| line 15, after the period, by inserting the following:

| "Upon the direction of the court, the Secretary shall issue the |
| 5 |
| person a judicial driving permit, also known as a JDP. The JDP |
| 6 |
| shall be subject to the same terms as a JDP issued under |
| 7 |
| Section 6-206.1, except that the court may direct that a JDP |
| 8 |
| issued under this subdivision (b)(3) be effective |
| 9 |
| immediately."; and |
| 10 |
| on page 32, line 4, after the period, by inserting the |
| 11 |
| following: |
| 12 |
| "If the minor holds a driver's license at the time of the |
| 13 |
| determination, the court may direct the Secretary of State to |
| 14 |
| issue the minor a judicial driving permit, also known as a JDP. |
| 15 |
| The JDP shall be subject to the same terms as a JDP issued |
| 16 |
| under Section 6-206.1 of the Illinois Vehicle Code, except that |
| 17 |
| the court may direct that the JDP be effective immediately.".
