as to House Bill 1268 in manner and form as follows:

| AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1268

| IN ACCEPTANCE OF GOVERNOR'S RECOMMENDATIONS
|

| Amend House Bill 1268 on page 8, line 15, after |
| 7 |
| "Research.", by inserting "In cooperation with the Illinois |
| 8 |
| Department of Children and Family Services and the Illinois |
| 9 |
| State Police,"; and
|
| 10 |
| on page 8, line 15, by replacing "Issue" with "issue
Issue"; |
| 11 |
| and
|
| 12 |
| on page 8, line 16, by replacing "and" with "and"; and
|
| 13 |
| on page 8, line 16, by inserting ", and conduct studies" after |
| 14 |
| "surveys".
