| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1294 on page 5, line |

| 2, by inserting after the period the following: |

| "Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a certificate of |
| 5 |
| good conduct does not relieve an offender of any |
| 6 |
| employment-related disability imposed by law by reason of his |
| 7 |
| or her conviction of a crime that would prevent his or her |
| 8 |
| employment by the Department of Corrections.".
