| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1360, AS AMENDED, by |

| replacing everything after the enacting clause with the |

| following:

| "Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended by |

| adding Section 155.42 as follows:

| (215 ILCS 5/155.42 new) |
| 8 |
| Sec. 155.42. ZIP code discrimination prohibited. If an |
| 9 |
| insurer authorized to do business in this State uses ZIP codes |
| 10 |
| in underwriting or rating property insurance, including the |
| 11 |
| determination of the premium rates, the insurer must use a |
| 12 |
| person's nine digit ZIP code.".
