| AN ACT concerning public aid.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by |
| 5 |
| adding Section 12-4.24b as follows:
|

| (305 ILCS 5/12-4.24b new) |
| 7 |
| Sec. 12-4.24b. Report of enrollment in medical |
| 8 |
| assistance-funded programs. The Department of Healthcare and |
| 9 |
| Family Services shall file a monthly written report with the |
| 10 |
| General Assembly stating the current enrollment in each program |
| 11 |
| administered by the Department that is funded in whole or in |
| 12 |
| part with moneys appropriated for medical assistance line items |
| 13 |
| in the Department's budget.

| 14 |
| Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 15 |
| becoming law.
