| AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1768

| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1768 on page 3, by |

| replacing lines 9 through 13 with the following:

| "(h) Any person not in compliance with this Section shall |
| 5 |
| be guilty of a petty offense. All subsequent violations of this |
| 6 |
| Section shall be a Class C misdemeanor. The fine for subsequent |
| 7 |
| violations shall be at least $100, including court costs. Any |
| 8 |
| fines collected for a subsequent offense shall be remitted by |
| 9 |
| the Circuit Clerk to the Illinois Department of Natural |
| 10 |
| Resources. The Illinois Department of Natural Resources shall |
| 11 |
| deposit the money into the Off-Highway Vehicle Trails Fund.".
