Creates the State-mandated Health Insurance Exemption Act. Provides that any person who presents a certificate of credible coverage to an administrator of any state-mandated health insurance coverage plan naming the persons who have credible coverage are exempt from the state-mandated health insurance coverage plan.

| AN ACT concerning insurance.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| represented in the General Assembly:

| Section 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the |
| 5 |
| State-mandated Health Insurance Exemption Act. |
| 6 |
| Section 5. State-mandated health insurance exemption. Any |
| 7 |
| person who presents a certificate of credible coverage to an |
| 8 |
| administrator of any state-mandated health insurance coverage |
| 9 |
| plan naming the persons who have credible coverage are exempt |
| 10 |
| from the state-mandated health insurance coverage plan.
