AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2207

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2207 by replacing

everything after the enacting clause with the following:

    "Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Section 
5
24-23.5 as follows:
 
6
    (105 ILCS 5/24-23.5 new)

    Sec. 24-23.5. Teacher transfer; personnel complaints 
8
forwarded.  If a teacher transfers from one school district to 
9
another school district, the district from which the teacher is 
10
transferring shall forward a copy of all personnel complaints 
11
against the teacher for which there was an investigation and 
12
the results of the investigation, if any, to the district to 
13
which the teacher is transferring.

    Section 90. The State Mandates Act is amended by adding 
15
Section 8.31 as follows:

    (30 ILCS 805/8.31 new)

    Sec. 8.31. Exempt mandate. Notwithstanding Sections 6 and 8 
3
of this Act, no reimbursement by the State is required for the 
4
implementation of any mandate created by this amendatory Act of 
5
the 95th General Assembly.".
