| AN ACT concerning gaming.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Riverboat Gambling Act is amended by |
5 |
| changing Section 20 as follows:
|
6 |
| (230 ILCS 10/20) (from Ch. 120, par. 2420)
|

| Sec. 20. Prohibited activities - civil penalties. Any |
8 |
| person who
conducts a gambling operation without first |
9 |
| obtaining a
license to do so, or who continues to conduct such |
10 |
| games after revocation
of his license, or any licensee who |
11 |
| conducts or allows to be
conducted any unauthorized gambling |
12 |
| games on a riverboat where it is
authorized to conduct its |
13 |
| riverboat gambling operation, in addition to
other penalties |
14 |
| provided, shall be subject to a civil penalty equal to the
the
|
15 |
| amount of gross receipts derived from wagering on the gambling |
16 |
| games,
whether unauthorized or authorized, conducted on that |
17 |
| day as well as
confiscation and forfeiture of all gambling game |
18 |
| equipment used in the
conduct of unauthorized gambling games. |
