| AN ACT concerning local government.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Illinois Municipal Code is amended by |

| changing Section 8-8-10 as follows:
|

The corporate authorities of a |

an audit committee, and may appoint |

| under this Act and any other financial reports and documents, |

| including
management letters prepared by or on behalf of the |
| 13 |
| municipality. |
