| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business |

| Practices Act is amended by changing Section 11 as follows:
|

| Sec. 11. If any provision of this Act or the

| application thereof to any
person or circumstance is held |

| invalid, the invalidity shall not affect
other provisions or |

| applications of the Act which can be given effect
without the |

| invalid provision or application and to this end the provisions
|
| 12 |
| of this Act are severable. |
