AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3393

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3393 on page 1, line 
3
5 by deleting "and changing Section 8h"; and

by deleting lines 22 through 24 on page 2, all of pages 3 
5
through 5, and lines 1 through 9 on page 6; and

on page 16, by replacing lines 9 through 14 with the  following:

    "exceptions, shall be a minimum of $40 and a maximum of

8
    $160."; and
 
9
on page 17, by inserting after line 3 the following:
10
        "An additional $5 fee shall be assessed on a complaint, 
11
    petition, or other
pleading initiating an action under the 
12
    Illinois Marriage and Dissolution of Marriage Act. The 
13
    additional $5 fee shall be remitted by the clerk to the 
14
    State
Treasurer for deposit into the Domestic Violence 
15
    Legal
Assistance Fund."; and
