    AN ACT concerning regulation.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 
3
represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Respiratory Care Practice Act is amended by 
5
changing Section 40 as follows:

    (Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2016)

    Sec. 40. Application for original license. Applications 
9
for original
license shall be made to the
the Department on 
10
forms
prescribed by the Department and accompanied by the 
11
appropriate documentation
and the required fee, which is not 
12
refundable.  All applications shall contain
information that, 
13
in the judgement of the Department, will enable the
Department 
14
to pass on the qualifications of the applicant for a license as 
15
a
respiratory care practitioner.
