Makes an appropriation for the Department of Public Health for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2007.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

ARTICLE 1

    Section 5.  The following named amount, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Health for the object and purpose hereinafter named:

  For Grants associated with the Illinois

   Regenerative Medicine Institute,

   including operational expenses............... 20,000,000

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2007.
