AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3860

     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3860 by deleting everything after the enacting clause and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

“ARTICLE 1

     Section 5. The amount of $150,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of business on August 31, 2007, from an appropriation heretofore made for that purpose in Article 2, Section 85 of Public Act 95-144, is reappropriated for Fiscal Year 2008 to the Capital Development Board for school construction grants pursuant to the School Construction Law.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.”.
