SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $1,200,000,000 from the Hospital Provider Fund to the Department of Healthcare and Family Services for making payments to hospitals as required under Articles V, VI, and XIV of the Illinois Public Aid Code and under the Children's Health Insurance Program Act. Effective immediately.

BALANCED BUDGET NOTE ACT MAY APPLY |

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. In addition to any other amounts appropriated for that purpose, the sum of $1,200,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Hospital Provider Fund to the Department of Healthcare and Family Services for making payments to hospitals as required under Articles V, VI, and XIV of the Illinois Public Aid Code and under the Children's Health Insurance Program Act.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
